RIPA represents a non-profit Private Law Association, aligned with provisions for Collective Systems, as per Law 188/2008, is a collecting and recycling system of waste batteries and rechargeable (in Italian CdCNPA). Exhausted batteries and rechargeable are classified as waste batteries and accumulators (the acronym is RIPA in Italian). Cobat RIPA is the most important Italian Association for collecting and recycling wasted batteries and accumulators, it befits from thirty years’ experience in managing the end of life of these materials.Download the statute
Cobat RIPA’s mission is very clear: make producers and importers of batteries and accumulators protagonists of circular economy, turning products that have reached the end of their normal life cycle into raw materials.
